Program Description

Event Details

Are you looking to try something new in the New Year? Join us for our New Year, New Hobby series. We will be hosting events on Fridays throughout January, each featuring ways to get started with a new hobby.

On January 12, we will be hosting a craft supplies exchange. Drop off gently used, or new and never used, craft supplies ... and maybe pick up supplies for a new hobby while you're here!

Craft supplies that will be accepted for the exchange include crochet and knitting supplies, embroidery supplies, like-new paint brushes and paint sets, scrapbook supplies, and so much more!

Please do not drop off craft supplies that may be considered hazardous, such as turpentine, which is commonly used in oil painting.

Donations may be dropped off prior to the program at the third floor Reference Desk at the Main Library, starting on Jan. 2 and ending on the day of the event. No other service desks or branch locations will be accepting donations for this event. Please do not drop items in drop boxes or outside the library, as these donations will not be accepted.

Check each event listing for details and to register for individual programs.
