The course will include learning the basics of mindfulness of breathing, mindfulness of the body, thoughts and feelings as well as mindful walking and eating. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Buddhist Studies from the University of the West in Rosemead, CA and is currently finishing a PhD in Buddhist Studies at UWest. She served in the  Air Force as a Chaplain for over 20 years including deployments during the Kosovo War and during OPERATION Iraqi Freedom.

This course is offered as a 5-week series and it is recommended that participants attend each session to build on new skills.
