Join us on World Mental Health Day for a lunch-break meditation with Dr. Christine Blice-Baum. This program is offered in-person at the Main Library and virtually via Zoom. To receive the Zoom link to participate online, please register and include your email address. A link will be sent closer to the time of the presentation.
Christine is a qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher and teaches Mindfulness Meditation in Charleston and online. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Buddhist Studies from the University of the West in Rosemead, CA and is currently finishing a PhD in Buddhist Studies at UWest. She earned the degree Doctor of Musical Arts in Church Music from the Manhattan School of Music in New York City and has been a Lutheran Pastor for almost 40 years. She served in the Air Force as a Chaplain for over 20 years including deployments during the Kosovo War and during OPERATION Iraqi Freedom.
