His novelette “Gone Where the Goblins Go” was adapted into a film which has been shown on the big screen at the Foundry Theater, my short story “Witch Hunt” was made into a short film also shown at Foundry as well as the West Virginia Independent Film Festival in Charleston.

Three of his short stories were adapted into radio style plays and presented before a live audience at the Foundry Theater in Huntington, WV in October, 2021 while simultaneously being broadcast over the internet. Due to the favorable response the program was repeated with two new adaptations for the Huntington Movie and Arts Festival in 2022.

From 2002 to 2012 Bill produced 293 issues of a proto-blog, The Bill Bitner Newsletter which by the end of its run had over a thousand readers per issue including subscribers in Europe, Asia, and Africa. The Newsletter archives are now being collected in print.

Projected books for 2024 include the science fiction/horror novel, Invasion of the Space Piranhas, the sixth archival Newsletter release, I Feel Like Oblivion, and the sixth book in the DFZ series, Death Falcon Zero Vs The Sea Devil.
