Program Description

Event Details

As algorithms and talking heads lead us further into division,  newsrooms continue to downsize, West Virginia elected officials work to control narratives, and pro-censorship activists challenge access to books in our schools and libraries, it can be difficult to know where to find clear, unbiased information, particularly when it comes to in-state and local community matters on topics that affect your daily life.

Join ACLU-WV Investigative Reporter Kyle Vass for an engaging panel discussion on media literacy not simply on international and national concerns, but also in light of the unique media environment here in West Virginia. This is a Freedom to Read Week event.
