Join us for a course on Fire Cider presented by the Kanawha County Master Gardeners. Fire cider is an herbal remedy that contains apple cider vinegar, honey and spicy ingredients. This class will discuss the basic herbs and ingredients used to make fire cider, including how to grow, harvest and use various component parts. The instructor will demonstrate how to prepare fire cider and will provide samples for tasting.
Deanna Stone has been a member of the Kanawha County Extension Master Gardener Association since 2019. Her gardening interests include perennials and herbs.
The West Virginia University Extension Master Gardener Program is a volunteer educational program meeting the horticultural needs of everyday West Virginians. The program trains volunteers, utilizing their expertise to teach others more about plants, their culture, their importance to the environment and to our quality of life.
