The St. Albans Branch of the Kanawha County Public Library has been awarded $10,000 of grant funding by the BB&T, now Truist, West Virginia Foundation to support efforts to install a new elevator at the library.
Effective immediately, KCPL has retired its Mobile Library due to ongoing maintenance issues. Bookmobile service will not be available until a replacement vehicle can be purchased.

The Riverside Public Library will be closed beginning July 25th due to construction as Riverside High School undergoes renovations this summer. The branch’s last day of operation will be Saturday, July 24th. The library is expected to reopen in October.
It’s back on the road again for KCPL’s Mobile Library. The bookmobile’s regular service schedule was shut down due to the COVID pandemic in 2020, but the Mobile Library hits the streets again beginning July 6th.
